A record ten foreign crews have entered this year’s Shell V-Power Pearl of Africa Uganda rally which makes it the highest number of foreign drivers that have ever competed in this prestigious event.

This becomes the biggest number Pearl rally has ever registered in its history. The other biggest number was in in the 2014 Pearl rally in Zion estate where eight foreign crews made it.

“Yes I don’t remember any year we have more than nine foreign drivers. In the 2014 edition in Zion Estate fourteen (14) drivers just showed interest but I think only eight (8) returned forms,” Rey Kibira a former FMU secretary, currently a member of the Sporting Commission confirmed the development.
