Andre Dearden is a full-time motocross training Coach, part time Motocross track designer and builder. He started coaching in 2001 with tailor-made programs which saw his students become champions in South Africa, Zambia, USA and multiple continental championships.

His presence in Uganda is a monumental moment for the country’s motocross community, as local trainers are receiving world-class instructions to refine their training methods, understand advanced techniques, and ultimately enhance the competitive edge of our riders.

FIM Africa is to conduct similar programs in other African countries, such as Senegal.  These programs will help in nurturing and developing new talent from grassroot level, and indeed promoting our top riders and trainers.

Monday, 23rd September 2024 at Victoria Raceway Park in Garuga, the FIM trainer has scheduled practical and theory Examinations to assess the performance of the trainees, award certificates of excellence and accredit the best performing trainees. This will conclude his purpose for the visit to Uganda.

The Federation of Motorsport clubs of Uganda (FMU) will continue conducting such training programs for its riders in conjunction with the trainees who have been impacted with the TTT knowledge with the aim of improving the skills of our riders.
